Quick 02 sensor question
Quick 02 sensor question I have a 94 z28 LT1 motor. I noticed after adjusting my exhaust that i have no rear 02 sensor (After cat). I guess the owner before me or whoever put on the cat-back exhaust removed it or did a damn good job hiding it. So my question is, Dos not having one effect ANYTHING with the car other then saying hey cats bad / good. I read with OBd1 cars it wont throw a code. I know front ones will try to adjust A/F but if the rear is missing would it be lying to the computer saying cats bad and effect the front senors causing it to run lean or rich? I have no idea if it was tuned out or not. So ied rather play it safe.
