'99 Z28 - A/C and Fan Control Panel Light
'99 Z28 M6 - The control panel under the radio that controls the fan, temp and AC/heat functions .... this panel no longer illuminates when the dash lights come on. Is there a specific bulb that I need to change inside the panel or is the illumination a function of the panel? Change a bulb or find a new control panel?
Thanks
Bill

thats the climate control head unit, or HVAC head unit.
I pulled the one out of my 2006 gmc sierra and replaced the bulbs in it. For mine I needed a soldering iron, basic set of small screw drivers, and the bulbs i got from radio shack. I suppose it's the same thing for yours. the dealer will want to replace the whole unit for hundreds, saying it's not serviceable. There's a few places that repair stuff like that if you look online, will probably run you around $100.
