Need help quick Last night I got caught in some really heavy rain. My car rain fine all the way home. Woke up this morning to go to work and it was missing bad and chugging/surging with some gas. I took my dads car to work, got home and its still running bad. Ive been letting it run for awhile now and it does idle a little better but will start to chug every now and then. I know the engine isnt hydrolocked because its obviously running. Any idea on whats causing this and how I can fix it. Car is my every day to and from car so I need some help asap.
Oxygen sensors got wet. Happens to mine quite often. It starts to run like crap, I give it a lot of gas to get it to move and it goes away till I restart the car. Usually goes away for good in under a day or less of doing that.

I was planning on replacing plugs and wires, just havent gotten around to it yet. This has happened a few times before and i let it sit running for a little bit and it stops. I was mainly asking if there is a fix for this or is it just something to be weary about.

Previous owner did. I didnt notice the wires were spliced together because of wire loom, until this past weekend when I did my clutch swap. If put heat shrink on the wires instead of the stupid butt connectors the previous owner used would it be a water tight seal?
