Default Lamp socket replacement

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement lamp socket for my tail light? (97 SS). I need an entire new socket, with the metal mating hole and connectors inside.

I have found a replacement part on Delphi's catalog (part number #12160392), but if I order it through Mouser, I have to order 400 of them...

That's probably the the wrong part. Do you really have a bayonet bulb in your '97? I thought that all the 4th gen cars had the same harness. (I'm not sure - I have a '99.) If so, you should have wedge base bulbs.

Which socket are you trying to replace on the car? Is it one of the inner bulbs or the outer one?

It is for the brake light. It does take a bayonet bulb and not a wedge base bulb :/.

No one else has any idea? I guess I'll just buy a replacement tail light harness.

You can get a socket assembly from any parts store. I don't have any experience with the bayonet sockets and don't know if they come apart cleanly like the wedges do.
