Default Seats! Help me out!

I just purchased some good looking stock seats for my trans am since mine arent in very good shape...My question is, my current set up is power and the new seats I bought are manual. I have found that the brackets should be the same and they should just swap over but what about the side panel controls? I understand that my lumber support wont work but I dont think it works now anyways. I just want everything to look right. Will they swap over as well and are they attached to the frame? Thanks for the help!!

can't you just re-build your old seats with the parts from your new seats?

I dont know about that...removing the pad and leather from the old seat? That seems like a lot more work then just swapping frames....I may have to though if the controls don't switch over..

It really is not that difficult, I have done it many times.

I have done it also. You just need to take the seat off the manual track and put it on the electric track. Turn the seat upside down and take the bolts out. You have to move the seat forward or back to get to the bolts. When I was finished I noticed that the side control unit wasn't flush against the seat there was a space. Everything worked fine. I probably could have cut into the leather so the controls could fit snug but I never got aound to it. I sold that car.
