Help! Car wont start
Ok, you got some wrong advice in this thread. Your engine isn't cranking at all so that has nothing to do with the ignition relay. If it was cranking then you could have an ignition relay problem.
SOO, that being said, try replacing the STARTER relay or swap it with your A/C relay. If that doesn't fix it then I would get a test light or volt meter and see if you have power going to the starter solenoid. If you do, then your starter is bad.
Do those two things and go from there. This is assuming you don't have a VATS issue which it sounds like you don't.

I had the names wrong, instead of calling it by it's proper name (starter relay) I called it ignition relay.

Don't try to throw the guy a curve ball and say EVERYTHING he heard today is COMPLETELY WRONG,
if you saw the wrong name for the relay, point it out.

I didn't give him WRONG advice as far switching relays go.
I had the names wrong, instead of calling it by it's proper name (starter relay) I called it ignition relay.

Ok....so how am I supposed to know you "meant" to say starter relay when you called it the ignition relay- makes no sense? The point is, you gave him wrong advice and it sounds to me like you just didn't know. How do you mean to type starter relay and then type ignition relay instead haha?
You do know those are two separate relays on these cars right? They are NOT one in the same....
Well I woke up this morning hoping to solve this problem myself just to see that my dad already had it towed to his friends shop. I'm sure they'll find and solve the problem much easier I just hope it doesn't cost much. Again thanks for the help guys.
