Default Power steering problem?

Not sure if mine is going out, but it has started making that power steering noise, kind of like when you over turn it, but I am well within the normal range of operation when it makes the noise. I checked the fluid level and it all looks good. Does this sound like it is going bad?
I haven't actually noticed it not assisting any less, just a bit noisy at times. Temperature doesn't really play into it. Sometimes it is quiet, other times it is quite noisy.

Does it make noise when you turn it both ways or just in one direction? If it makes noise going both ways then your pump is probably going out.

If it makes noise just while turning in one direction, you probably have a rack and pinion going out.

You can try adding some Lucas Power Steering Fix. I've had good luck with Lucas products.

Yep, both ways. Will give Lucas a try...if that doesn't work, I'll go for a new pump. Thanks
