A/C - Fans question When the AC is used the fans automatically turn on? Hi fan or low? Reason I ask is Im removing my ac belt due to the comp is going bad. I had the belt removed before and I could hear the ac comp solenoid kicking in. Is the fans based on temp?
yes your fans automaticall turn on when the ac
is used, because the condensor need airflow.
i think it depeneds on the load of the ac system
thatll determine if the fans are on high or low.
the fans will still turn on based on engine temp, the
pcm will command them on as it needs them. take the
belt off the ac compressor. you wont hurt nothing.
