Slow windows
Hey guys I have 1999 Trans Am with 154,xxx miles and my windows are starting to not roll up nor down, sometimes they work but they roll very slow but at times they stop rolling down or up... Im guessing the window motors are staring to wear out and give up on my windows... Does anyone have any window motors or know a web store that sells these motors for a lower price? Any advises are welcome, thank you guys!

Check out the sticky on stuck windows, radio not working and such. Sometimes the integrated body control module solder goes bad. I had my windows sticking and radio was always flipping out. I re soldered the relay on the circuit card like the post said and its all fixed. https://ls1tech.com/forums/stereo-el...lickering.html
Maybe it's the problem and maybe not but windows usually just stick until you smack the motor with a hammer

If he was having other issues like random radio or over head light issues I'd agree to it being a BCM issue. However it is most likely it is from the passenger window. The positive wire is directed through the drivers side. By the time it reaches the passenger side it is drained and gives it just a minimal amount of volts to work. Over time it kills the motors. This is the number one problem for passenger windows.
There is a fix, cost about $38 and can be done in a hr. You may still have to get a new motor if they are near death, but after the kit is install you'll see a big difference.
I can drop both windows at same time and have no lag.
I'm not sure if I can post a direct link to the vendor here but if interested let me know I'll pm it to you.

You want to get the Dorman brand window motors, and I believe that is what Autozone sells, ask for them. The kit should come with the screws that will replace the stock rivets and instructions.
Autozone part number 742-101 for both driver and passenger side. Looks like $47 using my zip code, your's may vary. I read a lot on here before I replaced mine and the Dorman seem to be preferred.
