Starting Problem
Starting Problem Haven't driven my car in a little white & as I approached the car I noticed my remote didn't work. I figured the battery had ran down. I turned the key over & noticed I had power to my gauges, radio, fuel pump, but it wouldn't even click when trying to turn it over.
I put a charger on the battery, made sure it was charged & I got the same results. I thought it might be VATS related but I don't have a security light on or flashing.
Could it be just a bad connection somewhere not getting enough power or is it a fuse/relay somewhere? I also noticed I'm not getting the door chime from having the key in the ingition with the door open.
The last time it was driven it started fine, drove fine, no problems. It's been sitting for a couple weeks, but not months. Just wondering what it could possibly be to effect multiple things.

I think when my VATS was acting up the doors wouldnt chime, never had a light, but my gauges and such would work, however mine would start. Also a bad connection at the alternator causes some wierd things to happen. Never trust electrons. If you have a probe light you can check all the wires in the starting / charging circuit to ensure they are getting juice as normal.
