Strange WOT problem
Strange WOT problem So the problem started after I got the new LT's put on. Whenever I accelerate at full throttle or do a moderately hard launch, something feels like its rumbling in the mid to rear section under the car. It doesnt effect the actual acceleration and there is no indication of the problem on the tach, as in, it isnt changing the rate the revs increase or decrease.
I normally wouldn't worry about it but its a severe rumble. At first I thought it might be the rear end but I feel like it would accelerate slower or have some effect visible on the tach.
I took a look at it and couldn't figure anything out so I'm gonna take it to the shop sometime this week.
Anyway, if anyone things they have a solution or has a similar problem post up, I'm curious

sounds like the y pipe is hitting the frame.... not an uncommon problem with the addition of headers but it can cause knock retard so its best to get corrected. did you do new motor mounts with the lts? if not thats most likely causing the banging
