Drivetrain noise problem - VIDEO INSIDE Hi,
I'm trying to locate a noise problem in my vette and I'm not getting any further. It's a kind of howling that will come on shortly and then again dissapears.
It's not a differential noise for sure since I recently put in a new differential. The noise didn't change after thet change.
It also does not seem to matter if the drivetrain is under load or not.
I caught it on video and it gives a very goog idea about what it sounds like.

Does this sound like a type of transmisson related noise ?
I do use a c6z06 shifter, I remember there was an issue about them causing a type of rattle, does it sound like that ?
Or a worn bearing in the transmission maybe ? Does a worn wheel bearing sound like this ?
Here is another video of it. It occurs two or three times after another an then it dissapears again. It's easy to hear, I just can't find what it's causing it.

Hmmmm sounds like wind or road noise, it also kind of sounds like my subaru. My subie has a bad cv joint upfront and it howls like that on acceleration. Check the half shafts out back maybe?
