so i recently had my my stock ls1 had the heads ported, valve job and swapped in a ms4 cam with double valve springs and chromoly hardned pushrods 7.425 i started to notice a bad ticking like a lifter tap, and misfire now. my cousin more knowledable with internals then me removed valve cover and says he measured the pushrod length and was too short, he said right measurment would be 7.445 pushrods, i wanted to know if there were any vendors who custom make these length pushrods???price??? and also if these pushrods i currently have in now are too short an it cause really bad misfire, and a ticking noise ?? the ticking never happens when first started on a cold start though...
