Default P0440 Code Help

I have a 2000 Firebird, and the code is a P0440 evap code. I read around a little and it could be anything a loose gas cap, to a actual leak. But mine turns on and off. At least once every two weeks it will turn off for two days approximately and then turn on again. One thing I did read was a fuel solenoid could be loose by my fuel rail, but is that in the same location as my or general location in my v6? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

watch the video associated with it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=oHjdlGjverw

my opinion is if the code is random and does not come back repeatedly often and consistent then it's more likely a sticky solenoid that's leaking. If the code comes back routinely and quickly then it's a leak in the system.

P0440 code is for a large leak. If none of your Evap hoses have fallen off altogether it's possible you need a new gas cap or your purge or vent valves are sticking open.
