2000 Formula no heat

my firebird heater is not blowing hot like it used to. the damper sounds likes it's moving but no heat. fan works and all. any ideas

I'm assuming you give the vehicle time to warm up, so it can produce the hot air. Your thermostat could be out. Not a big deal pretty inexpensive and a cheap repair.

After the car warms up, grab the heater hoses. They both should be hot. If one is hot and the other isn't the heater core is stopped up. If they both are warm there are several other things it could be.
