Default Potential Trans or rear problems?

So about a 2 weeks ago I hit a pot hole going about 50. The car did a little *jump* and came down a lil hard. I pull over right away and I look under and there is no leaking. I shrug it off and start to head home. Next day I come out and my left tire is completely flat. I get the tire fixed but when I take off I hear this metallic sound when I give it to much gas. It sounds like the rear wants to separate from the car. or sounds like the trans wants to pull away from the clutch. It does not do it when I am driving, only when I am in first and taking off. Is there any idea on what this could be? I live in an apartment so I cannot get completely under, but if you give me some directions or pictures I can take a look. I would just like an idea of the problem before I show up to a shop. Thanks guys!
