Lately my Camaro has been making this whine .The whine goes by revs.The highier I rev the louder the sound.Cany be tranny .Im thinking pulley .I can sit in nuetral rev boom it's starts whining.Down **** whine .At idle there isn't a sound of whining .Here is a link

Can't look at the link(No sound on my crap top) but I'd say it was your power steering pump.

Mine used to whine. I took the accessory drive pulleys off and the dust covers off. The grease was dried out. Cleaned and re-greased them with high temp grease and they're quiet. Doesn't hurt to check.

Yes Im going to look at it this weekend.Its just so annoying.Ill post what I find out this weekend
