Default 97 Doors interchangeable with 02

He guys this isnt a question for my car but my uncles 02ss had the door crushed after some bring guy decided to sit on it and crack the fiberglass beyond repair. We found a door from a 97 door but I was wondering if the actual power internals will plug right into the 02 harness if not what year would?

The only difference is in the door latch mechanism. 98-02's have 2 plugs, where 93-97 have one. The extra plus is for the "door closed" circuit, which tells the BCM the door is either open or closed. If the 97 door doesn't have that plug in it, it's an easy fix. Just transfer the door latch from the 02 door over. Everything else is the same.

Yeah I just had someone lean on my passenger door and crack the door in the hinge area. How did they sit on it?

As far doors go they are interchangable between 93-02.
