Default Brake Light Issue

whats up guys i have recently ran into a problem with my camaro's brake lights, tailghts work but not brake lights , i changed the bulbs, checked the fuses still nothing. ive tried to locate the brake switch to replace no avail anybody know the location or other things i should check?

crawl up under your dashboard UPSIDE DOWN with a flashlight.. follow the arm of the brake pedal all the way up to the connector bolt on the firewall. along that path should be a spring loaded switch on a bracket with a couple wires going to it. If it has fallen out, your brake lights would be on all the time. if it has managed to get jammed forward against the brake arm, your brakes may not be going forwards enough to let the lights come on..

thanks man i appreciate it one of the plastic pieces was stuck and not releasing, brake lights are now working thank you sir
