Default Awesome Door/Window problems *PICS!*

Something that has been an issue for the entire length of ownership of this car has been the windows, they don't fully seal when the door is open, only when the door is shut due to it getting pressed upon.

It also makes a HORRIBLE noise when the windows are not fully raised and the door is shut... *shutters in fear*

Here are pics! (you can click em)

Either your window felt guides are broken or they need to be adjusted. If they look worn down just replace them since they are fairly inexpensive.

This was the rear one when it broke, scratched the **** out of my tint!

DUDE! It did the same thing to my tint!!! on BOTH sides!, (which I guess is ok, since I'm at 35% and want to go 20%)...

But I'm guessing I just need to get it all tightened up, got a part number or anything like that? :o

gmpartsdirect has them and they are called stabilizers $12.70 each, you can probably find them cheaper on Ebay but search for felt guides as well.

Awesome! I'd like to try and replace all of them, how many stabilizers are on each door/window?

Anything else I should look for that you know of? :o

Two of them for each door. That should fix your problems and while the door panel is off it wouldnt hurt to put some white lithium grease (paste not spray) on the rails of the window regulator, help things run a little smoother.

Be careful when you put the new ones on. You don't crank them down all the way and they won't be in contact with your glass when the door is shut. They keep the glass away from the seals just before they make final shut contact. You may note the position of your old ones before you put the new ones on.
