Default Ls1 won't start!

I have a 2000 Camaro Z28 LS1 with a LS6 intake. The car was starting yesterday, but would crank over more than usual before starting. Also the tach quit working yesterday. I replaced the starter a few days ago, so i thought maybe i damaged the crank sensor. I checked it today and it looks good. So i checked wires leading to sensor. They were sparking off the starter. I cut the wire and rerouted new wires to sensor. Now the car wont start at all. Did it jump timing? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Did you happen to cross the wires at all by accident, or did you hook them up backwards when you re-spliced them? BTW did you solder the wires? If not, you really should, or at the very least use weatherproof butt connectors but even that is less than ideal.

You didn't jump the timing by just messing up a sensor lol. If your wires are good, all fuses are fine, replace the sensor and see if it fixes it.

If it doesn't, it's time to check fuel, spark, compression and timing

It was a bad crank sensor.
