Default Electrical Problem

Hey guys im having some pretty weird problems goin on with my car. It dies so quick.and by so quick i mean it was dead after pumping 10$ worth of gas in.once the car is running and driving, everything is perfect and it charges around 14 volts no problem. could this be a bad battery?even though i just purchased it in July.its an optima red top.or the alternater being bad draining the battery?im almost thinking the battery isn't really holding a charge and the alternator is what's keeping it going while im driving.but im not sure.so i want to see what you guys think.thanks!

Inb4 OptimaJim and his bs about Optima batteries being better since they moved to Mexico.

Lots of people around here having problems with Optimas and not liking them.

If the car dies when its running. The problem is not the battery.

Despite anyone's personal feelings on batteries, brands, country of origin, etc. a one year old battery shouldn't be bad unless its being abnormally abused or used improperly.

Yeah, but how often do you leave your car running while you pump some gas?
