Cruise Control Question/Issue

A few years ago, while on vacation down in my home town of Corpus Christi, I had a Monster Stage 2 clutch, and a master and slave cylinder installed. The cruise control was working fine before the install. However, when I began my long road trip back to my current home, KOKC, I noticed the cruise control was inop. Let me tell you, 650 miles in the camaro without cruise control sucked!!!!

I haven't given the cruise much thought since the car is a garage queen. However, now that I am doing a engine makeover, I would live to fix the cruise. I have checked the fuses, along with anything else under the hood that might be the cause with no luck.

Can someone give me some advice on exactly which components to check?

There is a switch under the clutch pedal. This switch can thread "in" or "out" for adjustment so that it is engaged when the clutch is depressed -- and sticking all the way out when released. Check that and your cruise should start working again assuming you've checked everything else.

X2. I bet when you changed the master cylinder the pedal height changed as well. Easy way to test is put the car in neutral and bump the engine with the starter, WITHOUT pressing the clutch. If the engine turns over then you'll have to adjust the clutch pedal or switch.
