TCS Light stuck on! I bought this car about a month ago 41k miles on it have all the service records and car facts so car is in good shape but this light is starting to annoy me its on soon as the engine fires up I plan on getting it diagsnotic soon but before I do does anybody have an idea wat causes this?
Any one of 200 things. You need to have the ABS system scanned to pull the codes, which will hint at what is going on. BTW - These are not the same as the more common PCM codes and often require a specializes scanner.
More than likely though it's going to be one of the wheel speed / ABS sensors. I have the same intermittent problem because I swapped out the sensors to my aftermarket rear end. The sensors are fragile and have VERY tight tolerances. Is your LOW TRAC light or ABS INOP light coming on also?
Previous owner may have installed the SLP Reverse Module. Does it go off when you hit the TCS switch?
