Default Qa1 shock replacement

I changed out the rear stock shocks to these single adjustable QA1s on my 01' Camaro and I notice that the stock shocks had the bolt built-in/welded to the shock itself. the QA1 does not. I saw the hole at the bottom where the sleeve fits in it and the bolt runs through it. The Question I have is, when I bolt these QA1s up to the stock bracket, they dont seem to fit well like the stock ones did. Almost like theyre loose/wabbly until theyre tight. Is this normal as far as the swap?

Thanks

I just installed QA1 non-adjustable rear shocks today. They fit snug as a bug. I didn't use the sleeves they provided. Slid the mounting shaft through the shock bushing, large threaded end through the rear shock housing and bolted it on.

I put in QA1 single adjustable in with all there hardware, NO problems.

double check bushing size and position.

they may be loose a little until you tighten it up and compress the bushings.
