ls6 crankshaft sensor wiring help
Hey fellas just a quick run down before I ask the question. This is an ls6 motor going into my 72 camaro, my stand alone harness is from shwanke shortblocks. I have everything wired up and iam getting it to turn over but get no fire. I checkedand I have 12v going to each coil. My guess would automatically be crank sensor but iam positive that's good. Then I checked the colors on my crank sensor connector and according to info I looked up it seems like my ckp signal(blue and white) on pin "A" and 12v (green) on pin "C" wire are crossed. Am I correct?? Someone please help. Iam quite new to these ls motors so please bare with me.. Here's a pic

I have been told that the connector was wired this way because the harness was set up for an 8.1 motor with cam sensor in front. Can anyone verify this? I just seen that terminals A and C on my cam sensor connector were also crossed. Can any one please verify this and is all I have to do is switch the wires back the way they should go?

Before condemning the crank sensor, measure it resistance; and then while cranking see if you get an AC voltage from it using a DMM (something like 0.5-1.0 VAC).
