Default What is under driver side fender?
I have an 02 SS. I noticed that the wiper fluid reservoir has been deleted and in that spot someone has run a tube that has a breather on the end of it. That tube runs down to some sort of motor that's underneath the front driver side of the car. Does anybody have any idea what it is? It appears to be a motor of some sore but I have no idea what it is. Any ideas?

Sounds like the A.I.R. pump and lines to me...

Emergency electric motor in case you break down. It's only good for 15miles @ 5mph though




It's your air pump for emissions

BTW, your wiper fluid reservoir is located in front of the radiator in the middle of the car, not on any particular side.

A hole on the air intake lid i think and then the tubes coming off the exhaust manifolds.
