key stuck in drivers door lock.

key stuck in drivers door lock. I went to use the key to manually lock the door on my 98 trans am and the key turned forward to the lock position and then almost back to straight up and down like normal but now the key is stuck and I cant pull it from the door lock... what the heck do I do know?
