Default Lubrication

I need to lubricate my door hinges and I noticed my hood isn't any better off.

What should I use and how should I apply it?

TIA.

hinges are done with White Lithium Grease, comes in a spray can like WD-40, in a pinch you could use WD-40 but it won't last as long.

I use a bearing grease for just about everything like that and only because I have a monster tube of it that has a lot left in it. The Lithium grease is excellent

I prefer spray OIL.

Oil soaks into the hinges and joints. The Lithium grease pretty much lays on the outside and never really gets into where lube is needed.

For the door hinges, I recall that GM recommends Superlube. You can get it in a pencil applicator which really helps get the stuff in the right place.
