rack or pump?

i have power steering turning right but not left. im guessing my pump is gone, but i think i read somewhere its the rack when it works one way and not the other.... any help would be great...

It's the steering gear. Throw a new rack in there and you should be good to go.

if you replace the rack cut the head off of the bolt that won't come out with out lifting the engine .install the new bolt from the bottom .

This is what I did it was a 5 minute job.
