Steering issues Just bought a 2000 TA M6. The dealer replaced the PS pump, and not even before I left the lot, the new unit went bad. They replaced that and the high pressure hose. Everything seems to be holding fluid fine, but after running for 20 minutes or so, the car is hard to turn unless the RPM's are up. Basically, when cool, the steering is fine.
It does not have a cooler hooked up. Would installing an aftermarket one help, along with a flush?

This happens all the time with reman pumps. This is a part that is best gotten new.
I recall seeing a lot of threads where the pressure relief valve on the remans stuck. If this valve sticks open, the lines will bleed off pressure and the steering will become difficult.
Are yours remans?
