Weird AC stuffs...
Weird AC stuffs... The AC works; temp is fine and blower sounds like its kicking ***. Unfortunately, I barely have anything coming out of the vents.
Also, the selector doesn't exactly work as it should. Sometimes it doesn't even turn off! I have to turn it on then off again and then it will usually shut off then. Sometimes it seems it didn't go to what I selected. I simply move it elsewhere and back again.
Ideas?

First thing I would check is the vacuum check valve that controls the vent doors. It's... well between the intake and the computer up close to the firewall. Should have 2 or 3 small vacuum hoses going to it. If it looks fine, and the hoses are connected, it could still be broken. I had one that was cracked but you really couldn't tell unless you took it off. It's only about 5 or 6 bucks at the parts store. At Advance its found in the help section, but the section with the vacuum hoses which for me is usually near the air filter section.
As hinted above, the vent selectors and duct valves are vacuum actuated.
Usually, if its the main vacuum supply, you get air at the lower vents and nothing else. Since this situation is a little squirly, the leak could be elsewhere.
You may need to get a MightyVac and trace the lines going in to the back of the selector to make sure they can all hold air.
