No bleed, clutch problem
So I've got a 2000 Camaro V6 5-speed. Replaced the Slave cylinder, the master cylinder, and clutch on it today got to the bleeding portion and now I'm stuck.
I've tried the vacuum bleed method, I've tried bleeding it through the slave bleeder valve and nothing both ways. Clutch still lays down on the floor like a dog. No pressure on it at all. Spent about 10 minutes vacuum bleeding it and an hour trying to traditional bleed it. I've watched about thirty minutes of video on youtube for it tried it all and I've also read all the relevant posts here( or so i think haha). So I'm at a point where I think its either the Line from the master to the slave cylinder. I popped the line off the slave cylinder and tried to bench bleed just the master but nothing is coming out of the line. Never seen this before on any car. Been a mechanic for 6 years and this is a first for me. Any ideas? Should I just wait for monday and buy a new line for it? Am I missing some crucial step?
Steps for bleeding attempt 1:
Filled res up.
Left cap off.
Pumped the clutch pedal and held it to the floor (with a helper)
cracked the bleeder open (did not completely remove)
nothing came out at all.....
closed the bleeder released clutch to up (actually had to pull it up)
repeated for about 30 mins and still nothing coming from bleeder
Youtube videos later....
Attempt 2
same as above but instead tried it with opening bleeder before pushing the clutch down as a video suggested
nothing
tried for about thirty minutes
Attempt 3
Grabbed my vacuum bleeder and still nothing...
Thanks for your time and i hope I was thorough enough in my explanation.
