Low beam connector melted help!!!
The other day my passenger low beam headlight went out. I just thought it was just time to change the bulbs. When I popped open the hood, I noticed that their was tape around the low beam connector and when I took it off the connector was melted completely and it separated. I took off the old one and installed the new one, just within 2-3 days the new connector was melted completely too! I thought the bulbs were the problem. I changed low beam head bulbs for new ones (they told me the correct bulb by my car) and now I finally have the new connector. When I fused the wires on together and plugged it into the headlamp, it was not turning on at all one bit. I check 4 times that I put it on correctly but it still wasn't turning on. I was reading that I have high resistance or a corrosion in the wiring somewhere (I checked the fuses but I couldn't find any fuses or relays related with headlights in the fuse panel on the dashboard or under the hood). All the other lights work except the passanger side low beam headlights, Any ideas? '99 Trans Am A4.

Here are the photos of the of the socket that is less then week old for the low beam on the passenger side that melted. I took the disconnected the 5 pin connector that controls both the low beam & high beam headlights for the passenger side headlights. I wiggled the wires around to see if that was the problem, it didn't work. I tried wiggling the wires while it was connected and it still didn't make a difference either. Anything else I can try doing?
