PCV fix...another
PCV fix...another So I was getting some surging and figured I would check my P.C.V. Line annnnnnnnnnnd it was broken. The -Y- rotted as usual. I had a can of Plasti-Dip that I use to put a plastic/rubber type coating on tools and such so I thought what the hell. Here is the before, during and after pic's. Maybe this can Help someone else, Good Luck. 
I do however have one question. Why is there a steel bracket attached to the PCV Valve itself and appears to act as a ground?

Yes, supposedly there to prevent the PCV valve from 'icing up' in cold climes/ambients from any moisture in the blowby gases.
I removed mine since I NEVER got the throttle plate 'icing' the deleted TB heater line was supposed to prevent, NO MATTER HOW cold it got here.
I look at this the same way.
