Bad U-Joint?

Bad U-Joint? Oh herro!
A few weeks ago I was coming home and matted the throttle in second gear and all of the sudden I hear a clunking sound...
I did not stay in the throttle after this so it is hard to say if it is in the rear or the driveshaft... but definitely in the driveline.
The clunking is persistent with the speed of the car and when I put it in gear and start to move the car seems to have this feeling of raising upward, almost like driving over some boards before it starts moving.
It powers and moves just fine, it just clunks like hell...
I haven't had the time to get under the car to really inspect it, I am just trying to get an idea on what I would expect.
Sound like a bad u-joint, pinion or rearend?

What if you accelerate and let off the throttle quick? Coasting in neutral? If you remain at a steady rate of speed is the noise/vibe still there? Does the issue change in frequency/intensity if you shift from say from one gear to another while remaining at the same speed? Also drive it around for 10 minutes, stop, crawl under there and feel the ujoints...if they are hot they are bad.
