98 corvette pull key wait 10 seconds had a corvette come into the shop last week and it has me stumped its a 98 early one made in 11\97 automatic transmission has had the lmc5 already wired into it problem being when you let the car sit for more then 1.5 hours it displays this message as well as turns the car back into miles from kilometers "previous us vehicle" if it is before that it does not display the message and stays in kilometers so I done connector pinouts and checked all powers and grounds and they are all good also checked all fuses still does it after some research found out about the 'brown wire mod' did that and it did not work infact put it into service column so I put that back also in this time I did the resistor trick for the key just to rule it out, I'm thinkin of it being a possible bad bcm looking for some input from you guys if at all possible thanks in advance also the car is not presenting any codes in the bcm
