unfortunately this thread will stall for a while...I'm back on the east coast now and the day before I left, a neighbor side swiped the car. Hit the drivers door, fender and ripped the mirror off the car.

stock 2002 ss with 165k miles, a P0170 code.
for what it's worth i'd put money on the following:
- spark plugs
- maf sensor -> P0170
- O2 sensors
- idle air control valve
- evap solenoid leak -> P0170
- air injection pump, solenoid leak letting air into exhaust manifold -> P0170
- rotted pcv valve hose to throttle body letting extra air in -> P0170
but only $1
