How bad is it Well had to drive the camaro about 200 miles because of a mishap with the daily and after the car sat over night I turned it on and there was no heat. Checked the coolant and there wasn't much, I couldn't find a wet spot under the car so I filled it up and got to my destination heat is fine now but wondering where the coolant went. Didn't smell coolant being burnt and it wasn't steaming under the hood since it's colder than a witches tit outside. Next thing I went to back out of a parking spot and was turning pretty sharp and felt the car lunge like it was trying to pull the front end around or slide it over kinda. Could this be from a broken 10bolt I have a m6 car and I know these break easily. Could something have broke and seized in place making it act like a locked rear end or something seriously wrong with the front end. I'm worried about this upcoming drive home.
The coolant problem could be anything. You'll need to watch that over time. Add that you weren't alerted by a low coolant warning... Is this car a 2002?
The rear end could be a number of things - potentially related to the extreme cold we are having. When you can, I would check your diff fluid level. Maybe it's low and contributing to a lock up? You could have also hit some ice, right? Do you have summer or all-season tires?
For normal driving in a normal car, the 10 bolt should be just fine.
