Default digital odometer issue/inspection

Having an interesting issue with the odometer, it seems 1 bar in 2 different numbers is "missing", fails to light up, never seen it before, would this be an issue come time for inspection, numbers still go up as normal, just those 2 "bars" in the readout aren't there. Thanks

You may try searching the electronics section. The solder joints crack where the display mounts to the circuit board in the gauge cluster and these contacts get lost. This is a common thing in all cars of "vintage." The solution is to melt the solder joints and let them re-solidify. This is a common issue with the BCM, radio display, etc. I've also had to deal with this issue on other cars & electronics.

I don't see that being a problem, but you can head to a nearby inspection shop and ask them. You could also find a speedometer repair shop and ask if they can repair/replace the odometer, which is cheaper than buying a new cluster or even a used one and then having it reprogrammed for your mileage.
