Loud noise when shifting I was driving on the highway this morning and I shifted into 4th gear then I heard a loud bang then it threw me out of gear. When it did that the low traction light came up on the dash. I drove the car around for 30 minutes after that and there was no problems at all. It shifted into every gear just fine.

I would assume you released the clutch too early before the gear was fully locked in, and it bumped you out of 4th gear.
My turbo dsm does this, I believe it's a worn out syncro or my linkage has too much slack. It will pop out of 4th andake a god awful clank/thud
