Lq9 cooling issues
Well guys I've been working on this for a while now and can't figure out how to fix this issue. It all started out when I swapped the radiator and installed a lt1 style radiator. It's a new radiator btw. So I thought it was air bleed out all the air and still have the same issue. So then I swapped out the thermostat and the radiator cap. The water pump is new from the swap. Giant figure out what's happening?

Sorry about that, when I'm in traffic it runs at 185° but on the highway it goes up to 210°. As soon as I get off the highway it troops again.

Well some things to check for, the first would be to check for any leaks using a cooling system pressure tester. It's possible you have a leak at full pressure (when driving) that does not appear at idle.
Rent a cooling system pressure tester and see if you are holding a steady 15 psi coolant pressure with the system pumped up

If you run cool all the time in city.....then overheat on the highway......Sounds like a ram air issue. My LQ9 runs almost too cool on the highway at a steady speed of like 65-70mph.
Is your lower front air dam ok...?
Is there anything stuck up in front of the condenser?
Any work been done lately up front anywhere on the car?
