hatch weatherstripping 2000 ws6 t top.
Rear hatch seal is leaking a bit. To replace do I just pop the old one out and put new one in without adhesives? Also does hatch have to come off? Out of the few Google searches I found I think someone said that hatch had to come off. Just wondering how simple job is to do.

The old one should peel out pretty easily. If the new stuff is loose, you can use some weatherstrip adhesive, otherwise it should stay put on the channel without it.
You'll have to disconnect the hatch struts to get the weatherstripping in, the whole hatch does not have to come off. Do them one at a time and disconnect the hatch side, it's easier.
