Question This alternator Bolt look right?

2000 firebird..

This is a view looking down on driver side using a mirror for the bolt that goes into the alternator bracket to block....

of the 3 front bolts for the bracket , this was the shortest bolt so not sure why it is still not flush inside, this doesnt look right to me... i took bolt out and didnt see anything in the hole to cause a block

can anyone confirm the length of the bolt this is supposed to be?

Need some more pics unless you've solved it already.

The shortest of the 3 goes into that hole and should bottom out in it, do you have the alternator installed correctly?
