AC pressure level?

Im going to add some r134 tonight and try to get my ac back, what pressure level is reccomended?

I believe it also depends on ambient temps. The gauge set I used, has a chart that shows how much more/less pressure is needed due to outside temp.

Provided you have a gauge set i'd say somewhere in the 250 range on the high side make sure your low side can get around 30 or so.

Still gauge readings arn't perfict, only real way is to evacuate and recharge with a scale not some hillbilly 16oz. can. That will ensure proper charge level.

For everyone reading this, I know you guys for some reason like to cut corners $100 for an evac and recharge seams to be too expensive for you guys with a mod list two pages long. But don't use AC stop leak, first the AC performance gets degraded, and it plugs up orifice tubes. Simply changing the orifice tube doesn't fix it, guys I speak to at independant shops now quote the whole system and dont' screw around trying to fix whats broken. I'm talking 4-5grand. So take your car to the dealership and have a professional repair it, it will always blow cold and will save you money in the long run.
