AC Help!!
I have the car running and the AC on the compressor is spinning. But the air is hot. The lines in the bay are hot also. I assumed the compressor was being funny so I unplugged the compressor switch and started the car the compressor pulley spun but the clutch part did not. Turned the car off and plugged it back in and the compressor clutch did spin. So I thought it has to be Freon. So I checked the Freon with a gauge and a tool. Both said there was freon in the car. So I am confused. What else could it be?
Freon is a brand name for the refrigerants R-12, R-13B1, R-22, R-502, and R-503 manufactured by The Chemours Company.
