Default Cruise control cable

I'm trying to remove the cruise control cable from the cruise control box on a 99 ss. How exactly does it detach from the module? I can't seem to find an answer anywhere.

I think you have to cut it.

I know it must be removable because I'm trying to replace it with a non abs cable. Just can't see any way to get it out.

Remove the cruise control module shield bolts and nut then remove the cruise control shield...

Remove the cruise control servo cover...

Remove the retainer from the cruise control module...

Compress the conduit tangs and pull the cruise control cable (#4) from the module (#2)...

Finally, disconnect the cable bead (#1) from the connector (#3) and remove the cable.
