knock sensor on lq4 in bus question
knock sensor on lq4 in bus question 2005 chevy blue bird bus 6.0L/4l80e will be used as a car hauler and camper on track days
i have a knock sensor p0332 and a 02 p0154 i have 3 questions, am i able to disable the knock sensor and also have the vehicle run as normal or bit the bullet and replace it ? I've done the sensor in a silverado before but in a short bus chassis its a complete **** show no room anywhere the manifold would need to slide into place not drop down etc so wondering if anyone has disabled their rear knock sensor and if its worked out ? I'm even considering a company to replace it if i can keep it under 600 for the 2 sensors plus labor the bus actually runs great for 220k
#2 is what bank is the p0154 code on the up stream driver bank ? could a faulty 02 cause a false knock ?
anyone with a similar chassis share mpg ? this thing is **** its getting 9.5 mpg combined i thought it would be closer to 14
