Car stored for around 4 years T Top locks unlock but mecinism is frozen all help appreciated 2000 Formula

I agree that a penetrating lubricant may be what's needed. Take a look at this thread: https://ls1tech.com/forums/general-m...up-inside.html

The rust in the pictures is typical to what we see. The pictures here will also show you where you need to get. (In the middle - not at the ends.) If you can remove the clip that holds the handle on the post, you may be able to pull the trim back to get in there a little easier.
