Default Broken PCV crossover hose

I just received a used engine and noticed this broken hose on the back. I've seen a few diagrams online that state this is the PCV crossover tube ? Is this correct ?

It is... a whole new replacement runs over $100 or you can switch to an LS6 PCV setup for around the same money but much more efficient and cleaner

For an LS1 engine that doesn't have the LS6 intake, what would be needed to convert to an LS6 PCV? Valley cover, manifold and PCV hose?

Ok thanks. I'm getting the manifold anyway when I delete the EGR stuff. Or I'll be going aftermarket. Not sure yet.
